Director of the Dermatological Research Institute of Anhui Medical University; Director of Post-Doctorial Research Mobile Station in Clinical Medicine apart from being a professor and doctorial supervisor of dermatology and venereal disease.
He also holds a number of social positions, such as a member of the Anhui Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference; Vice-Chairman of Anhui Provincial Society of Science and Technology; a member of Anhui Academic Degree Committee; a member of Anhui Natural Science Funds and the director-general of Anhui Immunology Society.
0 |0 U& F, k: y& |; v/ ^" TProfessor Zhang was a doctorate graduate majoring in dermatology and venereal disease from Shanghai Medical University in 1994. He has so far compiled five books, such as fifth and sixth editions of Textbook on Dermatology and Venereal Diseases for undergraduates and graduates (textbooks designated by the Ministry of Health for colleges and universities in China under the tenth five-year plan) and the teachers’ books, which are a great contribution to the growth of medical colleges and universities in China. He has won five third-prizes for advance of science and technology in the province. He was so successful in his specialty that he was promoted to a full professorship as an exception without meeting some of the routine requirements in 1994. He was entitled to enjoy special allowances by the State Council in 1996. He was selected as a candidate at the first level and second level of Chinese Talents Pool in the same year. He was honored as one of core teachers of the Ministry of Education in 1999, and was awarded as one of outstanding teachers by the Ministry of Education in the year of 2002. He has supervised two post-doctors, 16 doctorial students and 26 master-degree candidates. He plays the leading role in conducting model courses in dermatology and venereal diseases designed for undergraduates.

Both at home and abroad he has many other commitments. He is an board of director and member of ISD; Director of Chinese Society of Medicine; Vice president of Chinese Society of Dermatology, vice president of Chinese Association of Dermatologist;Chairman of the Youth Association, and leader of the investigative Dermatology Research Group; Chairman of the Dermatology Section, Anhui Provincial Medical Society; a member of Examination and Appraisal Committee for Medical Science under Chinese Natural Science Funds; a member on the judging panel for Medical Awards of China; an expert of Examination and Appraisal Committee of Medical Malpractice under Chinese Medical Society; drug examination and appraisal expert in China; a member of examination and appraisal group for major laboratories; editor of <<Journal of Investigative Dermatology>>.
