“发帖子”的翻译法

在论坛上发帖子是很多人上网必做的一件事情。但是如何用英语说“发帖子”呢？例如这样一句话“你可以在这个论坛上用英语发帖子。”翻译成英语应该是什么呢？

/ t& ~4 k/ T- }! F* g“帖子”原指“请贴”，是邀请客人的通知，英语可翻译为“invitation card”或“invitation”。例如“To celebrate the anniversary of his son’s birthday, he sent invitation cards to his relatives and friends.”（为庆祝儿子周岁生日，他发帖子给亲戚朋友。）而现在“发帖子”已经成为网络语言，专指在网络论坛上就一个主题发表意见，展开讨论。英语可翻译为“open/post a new topic”。例如：

“回帖子”或“跟帖子”指回应已有的主题帖，发表自己的看法，英语可翻译为“reply a topic”。例如：

I taught my father how to reply a topic.（我教爸爸如何回帖子。）
