对待选项：从最关键的概念入手，从大到小的选择。

做阅读做到一定的程度可以给同学们一些适当的总结了：

同学们会被选项中的一些非关键信息所干扰，没有抓住关键信息，进而犯错。

举例说明:

这是2000年的第四篇文章关于日本人的生活方式的问题：

64. According to the author, what may chiefly be responsible for the moral decline of Japanese society?

　　[A] Women's participation in social activities is limited.

　　[B] More workers are dissatisfied with their jobs.

　　[C] Excessive emphasis his been placed on the basics.

[D] The life-style has been influenced by Western values.

根据题干我们可以知道这里是针对文章的特殊结构来提问的，

三个段落分别说到了原因：人口妇女工作，教育，生活方式，而在最后一段的第一句这样说道的：　But that may have more to do with Japanese life-styles.其中的more to do with 就呼应了题干中的chiefly，

所以在答案应该来自于这一句：同学们把答案阅读之后准备选择最后一个选项：[D] The life-style has been influenced by Western values.

但是突然间看到这个选项的后半部分出现了：influenced by Western values. 于是感到了纠结，回文寻找了很久也没有发现：被西方的价值观影响的细节。

其实这里的：life style 就是关键信息，而这里的influenced by western values 就是非关键信息；

在选择的时候就先看四个选项有哪些选项谈到了生活方式，四个选项只有最后一个选项说到了生活方式，那第四个选项就一定正确，哪怕后面出现了一些非关键信息，说的更绝对一些，哪怕在选项中说：日本人的生活方式受到了超级宇宙赛亚人的影响也应该是选择第四个选项。

下一个例子：

这是2001年的第一篇文章：

回到文章定位到最后一句：

确定作者提及地质学的发展是为了说明：The trend，再往前找可以确定：the trend 所指前一句的主语：The growth of specialization；因此这里的关键信息就应该是：the growth of specialization, 同学们找到了：选项　　[A] the process of specialization and professionalisation，但是会纠结于：professionalisation；而四个选项中只有A选项谈到了specialization; 所以关键信息确定答案为A，哪怕后面再加更多信息也只有选择A。
