As doctors,pateints always telling us how they will do our jobs."Just stitch(n.针脚、一针；v.缝、缝合) me up,stick me a woundplast(创可贴:band-aid),and send me to home."It's easy to suggest a quick solution when you don't know much about the problem,when you don't understand the underline cause,or just how deep the wound really is.The first step taught real cure is to know exactly what the diseases to begine with,but that's not what people want to hear.We are supposed to(应该；被期望) forget the past that landed us there ignore the future complications(并发症，复杂) that might rise,and go for a quick fix(权宜之计).
As doctors,as friends,as human beings,we all try to do the best we can,but world is full of unexpected traces and turns,and just when you've gotten the lay of the land,the ground underneath(在...下面) you,and knocks you off your feet.If you were lucky,you went up with nothing more than a flash wound,something a band-aid will cover.But some wounds are deeper than they first appear,and require more than just quick fix. With some wounds,you have to tear off the band-aid,let them breath,then give them time to heal.
