About the speakers:
Dr Raymond Bain is the Vice President of Merck Research Laboratories (MRL), Merck & Co, Inc (also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme [MSD] in China). Dr Bain is responsible for the worldwide operation of the Department of Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences (BARDS) in MRL. Before joining Merck, he was a research professor in the George Washington University (GWU) Department of Statistics and director of the GWU Biostatistics Center from 1986 to 1999.

Dr William Wang is an associate director and the site head for the BARDS operation in China. He has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for 16+ years, with more than 10 years at Merck.
Dr. Frank Lu is the director of biometrics at Excel PharmaStudies and General Manager of Taizhou (Excel) Biometrics Center. He has been working in the pharmaceutical industry such as Pfizer, Novartis, and Roche for more than 10+ years in USA and a few years in China.
