# q% W& T% M8 _0 c: \" k; l
Responsibilities include:
) N1 }1 g- |. B+ M" ^0 }& x2 i; N/ y( l3 ~! N. Apply statistical theory and methods to the design and analysis for clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas.
  q; h& _+ O; E, d5 P" x. Prepare data analysis plans and write reports describing results of statistical analysis.
! u- ?" Q6 G1 \% x* x" I/ x6 x. Maintain expertise in new statistical methodologies and applications in pharmaceutical research.
& C; m( [8 ^# U9 @  G+ z& G. Prepare responses to regulatory agency questions regarding statistical aspects of clinical trials.
. Represent the Biostatistics Group in project team meetings and in interaction with regulatory agencies.
. Consult with research scientists, medical directors, and clinical managers on statistical questions.

Qualification:
/ E3 I! N& ?' v* e. A degree in biostatistics or statistics, MS or PhD with a strong theoretical background in statistics is required.
. Knowledge of SAS programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation is essential. Knowledge of other statistical analysis software is desirable.
9 e6 f$ n2 t# j( I. The candidate should have 2+ years experience in clinical trials. Experience in supporting global clinical trials is an asset.
4 n3 J( J1 p/ D( |+ A% m1 j3 d! _. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Fluency in English, verbal and written, is essential.
& r" b- Y; b5 {$ t& H: C; v. u. Good project management skills. Ability to engage in clinical, regulatory, scientific programming, and database management groups locally and internationally.
